At Niccol G / Ms Why Rent, we value transparency and fairness. Please review our refund policy carefully before booking any service.
1. Free Consultations
Services offered at no cost (including listing appointments and initial consultations) are not subject to refunds, as no payment is collected.
2. Paid Services – General Policy
Payments for paid services (including strategy sessions, property valuations, buyer readiness services, and notarial services) are generally non-refundable once the service has been delivered or initiated.
By booking and submitting payment, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations Before Service

Clients may cancel or reschedule according to the booking policy displayed at the time of booking

If a cancellation is made within the allowed cancellation window, a refund or credit may be issued at our discretion
Late Cancellations / No-Shows

Late cancellations or failure to attend a scheduled appointment may result in no refund

This includes failure to attend virtual or in-person sessions without notice
4. Digital & Advisory Services
For services involving:

Strategy sessions
-
Market analyses
-
Buyer readiness or credit education
-
Consultations or advisory work
Refunds will not be issued once:

The session has occurred, or
-
Preparatory work has begun, or
-
Materials or analysis have been delivered
5. Property Valuations
Property valuation services are based on available data and information provided by the client.

Refunds will not be issued due to dissatisfaction with market value opinions

These services are not licensed appraisals and are non-refundable once delivered
6. Notarial & Loan Signing Services
Notarial and loan signing fees are non-refundable once:

The appointment has taken place, or
-
The notary has appeared at the agreed location, or
-
Documents have been notarized or signing services initiated
7. Exceptional Circumstances
Refunds may be considered in limited situations, including:

Duplicate charges

Administrative errors

Service cancellations initiated by us
All refund requests must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the scheduled service.
Approval of refunds is at the sole discretion of Niccol Gordon.
8. Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
